A Project for parents
AAWAZ Parenting Project has been designed by parents. Local mothers have put together some key elements to help themselves and others to learn about how to best help your child in their progress.
We have mothers to be, mothers, grandmothers, aunts and other carers who are participating in this unique programme. The sessions are informal and interactive including visits to Schools, Health centres and Libraries. It is a multilingual programme is creted especially for the parents in Hyndburn.
A DVD giving further details of the project is also available for loan from AAWAZ.
The Project is supported by Lancashire County Council and Rhydding Business and Enterprise School.
