AAWAZ is holding a special remembrance service to mark the fourth anniversary of their volunteer Caneze Riaz.
Mrs Jean Battle Patron explained “Caneze was one of AAWAZ’s very first volunteer and part of AAWAZ family, her mother June and her brother Barry are in close contact with AAWAZ and visit us frequently.” Ladies, volunteers, all members of staff and Chief Officer Mrs. Zulekha Dala will come together at AAWAZ New Beginnings Centre at Swiss Street, Accrington on Thursday 11th November at 11 am to hold special prayers and remember Caneze and her family. A special meal is also organised. June Khanan and other members of Caneze’s family will be attending and participating in this special event.
